Moodnote - a wearable electronic device, created for children (5-8years) and their parents. Its purpose is to help children express their feelings and emotions, which usually hardly reach parents. A child is choosing a color, that resembles his mood. The color code makes vulnerable information unrevealed to other people. The color is picked in the wearable electronic device, that child caries all day. It could be worn as a necklace or attached to a garment. The device is synced with the parent’s phone, and all statistics, meanings of colors and emotions, and the nearest help or consultations could be found on the app. As parents can track their children’s emotions and get knowledge about healthy mood swings, they can react to alerts and talk to their children, before it grows into a bigger problem. The key aim of creating this design object is to give knowledge of mental health to parents so that they could teach their children about it.
